Do you want to use your contract management experience and bioscience knowledge to make an important contribution to our public health mission? We are recruiting a Bioscience Contracts Specialist to support our contracts service.


A centre of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, The National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC) is a global leader in the characterisation, standardisation and control of biological medicines.


In this role, you will draft and negotiate a range of agreements such as material transfer, grants, and EU collaboration agreements. You will assess proposals, provide clear legal advice and training to staff, and manage a significant portfolio of cases.


The successful candidate will ideally have a qualification in contract law or IP or a scientific field. You will have experience in reviewing and negotiating a high volume of contracts, preferably within an academic bioscience environment. You will have a good knowledge of contract issues including publication, confidentiality, indemnities and liabilities.
