The successful candidate will:


Hold a degree in either a computer science, software engineering, or maths-based subject.  

Have in-depth knowledge of working with large volumes of structured data and database systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle, to ensure that data used in research is current, timely, quality assured, and robust.

Be a creative self-starter, solution focused, able to demonstrate initiative and effectively deal with requirements ambiguity to develop pragmatic solutions that realise researcher needs. 

Demonstrable evidence of effectively leading and monitoring data modelling, analysis, and quality assurance projects, and presenting the results.

Be a good team player, working closely with colleagues to deliver organisational objectives. Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal accountability, ensuring tasks, projects and issues are appropriately dealt with to their successful delivery or conclusion.
