The successful candidate will hold:


A degree in either a computer science, software engineering, or maths-based subject.

In depth knowledge of developing software of medium to high complexity using an object-orientated or scripting programming language, including but not limited to .NET, Java, or Python, in an academic or commercial environment.

Experience in being good team player, working closely with colleagues to deliver organisational objectives. Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal accountability, ensuring tasks, projects and issues are appropriately dealt with to their successful delivery or conclusion. 

Proven ability of analysing existing intricate codebases of programmes, processes, or services to locate bugs or identify opportunities for improvements and optimisations.

Experience of being a creative self-starter, solution focused, and able to demonstrate initiative and effectively deal with requirements to develop applications that meet user needs.
