The appointee will hold a degree in Epidemiology, Medical Statistics, Health Economics, Public Health or an equivalent related qualification.  


The successful candidate will have proven ability in conducting epidemiological research using large complex longitudinal datasets, appraising epidemiological research protocols, experience in the use of different methods and approaches for manipulating, linking, processing and extracting data, and working knowledge and understanding of quality assurance in research.


You will also have a strong understanding of the research governance around the use and sharing of anonymised patient data.


You will have excellent organisational skills and be a great team player, with the ability to work under pressure and self-motivate.
