The successful candidate will:
• Hold a PhD in epidemiology, medical statistics or a related discipline
• Demonstrate proficiency in using epidemiological and statistical techniques with a solid understanding of research study design
• Have extensive hands-on experience of data management and analysis using recognised data management and analysis software (for example, SAS, Stata or R)
• Demonstrate experience in creating strategic algorithmic approaches to data management, characterisation and to add value to, or analyse, complex datasets.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects to target. Capable of working under pressure and making decisions with a high degree of autonomy when required.
• Have good written skills, competent at producing high quality technical documentation. Track record of authoring peer-reviewed publications
• Be a creative self-starter, solution focused, and able to demonstrate initiative and effectively deal with requirements to develop resources and services that meet client needs
