Who are we looking for?

 

The successful candidate will be an accomplished operational leader with experience of operational process transformation to optimise business performance. You will have sufficient scientific, technical and regulatory knowledge to be successful in the role. You will already be an established senior leader, strategic, inspiring and passionate, able to lead, manage and develop staff in a way that ensures their engagement with the aims and long-term vision of the MHRA. You will have a demonstrable commitment to, and demonstrable experience of, delivering change and improvement.

 

Excellent communication and influencing skills, along with the ability to work with stakeholders at the highest level internally, externally and internationally will be crucial to your success. You will be a decisive and effective decision maker and have a well-developed and evidenced collaborative approach to successful delivery.

Applicants who are successful at interview will be, as part of pre-employment screening subject to a check on the Internal Fraud Database (IFD). This check will provide information about employees who have been dismissed for fraud or dishonesty offences. This check also applies to employees who resign or otherwise leave before being dismissed for fraud or dishonesty had their employment continued. Any applicant’s details held on the IFD will be refused employment.
