You are likely to have a relevant Degree and/or MBA or a Diploma in Procurement and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (but may have equivalent experience). You will certainly have in-depth knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations, Cabinet Office procurement policies and controls. You must also have excellent knowledge and understanding of core financial and procurement principles and procedures and experience of applying complex policies and guidance and managing high value purchases. You will have negotiation and contract management skills and will be familiar with Finance/Purchasing systems such as Oracle, Bravo or similar.
